Welcome
Welcome to the Little Bay Living website. This website is designed to keep you informed about the design and approvals process on the property, which was formerly UNSW’s Little Bay Campus at 1408 Anzac Parade, Little Bay.
Following an extensive consultation process (including all key stakeholders and Local Precinct meetings), Charter Hall has analysed the feedback and further refined its proposal in response to the issues raised. The Stage 1 Application was subsequently lodged with Randwick City Council on 13 February 2009.
The proposed masterplan for the site will create significant public benefits including a high quality public domain with two public parks, remediation, treatment of regional stormwater that flows to Little Bay, and public connections into and through the site. Sustainability has been a key focus of the planning with many initiatives, including a waste water recycling plant, proposed.
Another newsletter will be distributed to an extensive area surrounding the site in the next fortnight outlining the proposal in more detail. We anticipate that Randwick Council will be notifying surrounding properties about the application and placing it on public exhibition, commencing in the last week of February.
This website will be updated over the next two weeks with up-to-date details on the Stage 1 proposal and with information on Randwick City Council’s assessment process.
We welcome any feedback. Please click on the ‘Feedback’ tab above to provide us with your thoughts and comments.
